We design logistics out of passion
We were delighted to see many customers and partners again – but also to make new contacts and network with the community – sometimes late into the evening.
We talked about the diverse and individual requirements that are currently being placed on the design of logistics. We were able to show how we support these projects and develop customized solutions. We also demonstrated how we use simulations to hedge against project risks.
In this way, we ensure that our solutions prove themselves in practice from day one.
A special highlight: digital twins
A special highlight for all visitors were the digital twins, which offer a coupling (emulation) of SAP EWM and the simulation. With such an emulation, we can show where things are going wrong even before commissioning. This is because we simulate the entire system under real conditions – with a direct link to SAP EWM:
- Communication with SAP EWM – is it working or is there a problem?
- Material flow under stress – does everything stay in flow?
- Downtimes & emergencies – what happens when it happens?
- Order logic – will all orders be completed on time?
- Interfaces – do all systems speak the same language?
